Hi,
I have designed an inverter based on Maxim application notes AN3695 but I don't seem to be able to increase current. The PWM duty cycle is 10% but never increase when adjusted the potentiometer to maximum value. I have only populated one channel and current draw for the circuit is 0.5A. The lamp current is at 3.6mA and lamp voltage is 700V but I don't seem to be able to adjust the lamp current. I am currently using the GA4 and GB4 output and adjusted R14 upto 50K as suggested by the FAE but with no increase. I am beginning to think the reference design does not work. I really don't know how Maxim got their circuit to work.
