error: failed to find truecolor 24

Hi,

After finishing setup of Cadence IC 5.1.44 on my new laptop (DELL inspiron6400) on SUSE 10.0

when I run Cadence by writing icfb command in shell. I received this error message

*ERROR* Failed to find either 24-bit TrueColor or 8-bit PseudoColor Visual.
*WARNING* Failed to find either 24-bit TrueColor or 8-pbit PseudoColor Visual.

I tried to change the color using Sax2 from 16-bit to 24-bit color

The tools works good but the display was terrible (the color was mixed on the screen) and i changed it back to 16 and the tools refused to work with 16-bit color

Any one have a suggestion to solve this problem

Note: I am a beginner with Linux and tools

Regards,

Salem,
