[51] problem while flashing

I have "8051 Development Board Ver.3". For this I have P89v51RD2BN micro-controlller which supports ISP. In order to flash this I am using flash magic. i have configured the flash magic according to manual. Now the problem is once I click START button to burn , it says "Reset the device into ISP mode now". Even after resetting the board the pop up "Reset the device into ISP mode now" remains and code doesnt get executed on the board (code is not downloaded to MC).
please check the attached print screen and provide a solution
I am using USB to RS232 cable for the connection.
And I tried loop back with hyper terminal to check the cable , its working perfectly.

For this, you have to keep on pressing the reset button. After this you have to release the button, and check whether it has programmed or not.

Yeah. sure.. But this error message mostly occurs only if there is any configuration mismatch in flash magic and controller.

I tried all possible configurations from last 2 days.I did not find the solution. And on more thing, is it the problem with usb to serial device, because when i short 2 and 3 pins I am not getting reply on hyper terminal. Please see the attached photo.
