problem in finding the pic-18 c compiler for MPLAB

hello,
i am working on a PIC microcontroller, till now i used to work on HI-TECH compiler for PIC programing, now i want to use PIC18 C compiler. but now i am unable to find it, so please anyone help me from where i get that compiler??? can anybody give any link for that??

What i think, you want to use MPLAB C18 Compiler.

It not present by default, you have to install it.

Or XC8 at https://www.microchip.com/pagehandler/en-us/family/mplabx/ which is a newer version and is free unless you need code optimization. It works with MPLAB and MPLABX.
