hai friends,
I met a problem while connecting ARM with SIM900.
Max output of ARM is 3.3 v.
But input of SIM 900 is 5v.

now i have to connect Arm Tx pin in to Sim900 Rx. vice versa.

but 3.3 volt is not compatible for sim900.

now how can i convert 3.3 volt in to 5 volt,And 5v in to 3.3 volt.

Any on help me.....

Hi arunbharathi.arasu,

Actually the maximum supply voltage for a SIM900 is 4.8 volts.

The serial interface is about 2.8 (I don't recall exactly what) volts.

You will need to use level shifters to connect to the ARM, google it to find a suitable device.

Cheers.
