Hi,
For example a processor has 11 address lines. so I connect 1k byte of RAM or ROM. but for 11 address lines, its maximum range is 2k bytes of memory. but what happens if processor sends 11bit address means more than 10 bit address(more than 1k byte access). & what it receives.
assuming you connect the memory directly to the lower 10 address lines the eleventh line would probably be used as chip select with the memory mapped either to the lower or upper 1k bank. The other bank would address non existent memory.
