hi im simulating a dielectric resonator antenna using hfss softwar, the question is about antenna feeding, im using probe fed and i dont know how shoud i choose probe length
my guess is that shorter length probe give better return loss .
regards

The probe length is generally chosen to be less than the height of the DRA, to avoid probe radiation. YOu might consider a stub on the other side for tuning the antenna. (Added) other side of DRA on same surface.

so interesting, your answer was so useful , thanks for your answer
