Printed monople

Hi,has someone any expierence with simulation of a printed monopole?

I need a example project. It could be for IE3d,Momentum,Emseble,Ansoft HFSS or Microwave studio 3.

Thanks in advance! 8)

My recommmendation is IE3D User's Manual.
Other SW like Momentum, Microwave studio, Genesys and MWO are not good like IE3D.
If you want design problems like monopole patch antenna with some universal SW than Genesys and MWO will be good choice.

For Emseble and Ansoft HFSS I can't help you, I'm not try this SW yet.

I couldn't agree more. But I don't like the EM simulator of Genesys or MWO because of its methode of meshing. I think IE3D is the best for planar structure by far.

Re: Printed monople

If you are asking about the software then go for IE3D. Many types of printed monopoles are there. A good monople I simulated was bluetooth folded F manopole. These type of antennas are very much used now a das and details are available in the net.

you can find some design exampele in IEEE papers.then you can simulate it with IE3D.
