Hi, i know its possible to run a pc power supply unit directly using a 12Vdc car battery without an inverter but i am not sure how to do it.
So i need your help for this. Pls help.

Thanks,
Sunny55.

A switching power supply has a DC bus of around 350V which is converted to 12V, 5V, 3.3V using buck converters.

I don't think it will be possible to power up the unit from a 12V battery...
