Hello,

I received an evaluation board and want to power it up. This board has SMA connectors and my laboratory power supply has binding post.

What should be the best solution to connect the board to the power supply?
I have as well extra SMA connectors and shielded cable that I can assemble. But on the power supply side, should I use a SMA/BNC to banana plug adaptator or can I just
separate the end of the shielded cable and connect it to both inputs of my power supply binding post.

Thanks for your answers.

Hi,
An SMA to banana adapter is big/bulky & expensive...
I think; its better from signal integrity too if you apply the shilded cable so short as possible to the banana-srews.
I personally do use usually twisted supply lines_most time their are enough.
