Hi,

I have an image whose power spectrum is to be estimated. I read in a couple of books that there r 2 methods to go about. 1) parametric and 2) non-parametric.

One of these methods (non-paramteric) was the indirect method of getting the autocorrelation function and then taking the fourier transform of the Autocorrelation function.

Do you know any other methods of how to go about. More importantly, i need to know what parameters are important for showing as results and how to plot them? Because, its 2D, I am a little confused as to how to show the results of the PS.

Also, is there any special representation to show the results in 1D??

Thks,

cedance.
