Can anyone help me to do classification of power management IC?

Like
AC/DC Conversion & DC/DC Conversion

Sub-categories for AC/DC conversion are Power Module/Power Factor Correction/AC-DC Converter/ORing Controller/Lighting Solution etc.

Sub-categories for DC/DC Conversion are DC-DC Switching Reg:Controller/Linear Regulator LDO/ PMU/PMIC/Charge pump/Voltage reference etc.
