i hope i am in the right place to post (sorry if not)
i had a problem with my power amp
and i hooked up a wire in wrong place and i burn a part i dont know what it is
witch is why i am here.

this is a link to the power-amplifier-schematic

https://www.eserviceinfo.com/download.php?fileid=34211

look at board 84172/4

right next to the part i need it has a R65

it looks like a little a battery

any help would be great
thanks

Heya nynex - R65 is a thermistor used to limit the inrush current into the transformer primary (before the relay E1 switches and allows full mains voltage to appear across the primary).

It appears you can get another one from here: https://www.fullcompass.com/product/397296.html
(They turned up in a Google search, I can't personally endorse them :)

you are the man thanks so much i searched for hours and couldnt find it...Post here and you had it AWSOME thanks again

thylacine1975 how can i get more info on that thermistor?
i ordered it and they have it on back order and cant get it to me for a month or better..

i need to know the specs to it so i can get it from somewhere like allied electronics, they are fast and repectable people there..

i know now i am being anoying but i cant run the numbers from that site anywhere else..

any would be awsome thanks

Hmm - you're right - further info seems a little hard to come by.

Prefixing this by stating upfront that I'm guessing (with a dash of intuition :) but perhaps the "10" displayed on the body of the thermistor on their site refers to it being a 10 ohm device?
If so, a suitably rated part would be: https://au.element14.com/jsp/displa...&s_kwcid=TC|15109|sl32 10015||S|p|13849943688.

Provided this fits the holes on the PCB (the datasheet is here: https://www.farnell.com/datasheets/87338.pdf), you're good to go!
[And of course you could probably find something similar at Allied, Mouser, RS, Digikey etc etc]
