I wonder what is the utility of the velocity and current loop in a servomotor drive when the servomotor is position controlled?
By the way, with the position control, is it possible to control the speed and acceleration of the servomotor since speed is the derivative of the position and acceleration is the derivative of speed?

Servo drivers include position+velocity+current loop.
Current loop: -> limit current in a posibility range and use for moment control mode
Velocity loop:-> stabilize speed and use for speed control mode
Position loop: -> Motion control
