port orientation requirement for c$t MWS ?

Is the waveguide port still required to be parallel to the computation domain box?

For example, two end ports of a wr284 section with a 45-degree bend in middle.

Hope to get a quick answer, thanks.
 

I think the answer is no, they don´t have to be in parallel. However, if you post your problem, we will be able to look at it better.
