OK well you and the report are talking abour two different things
A klystron or magnetron can generate (depending on the model ) substantial power directly at a given frequency. eg a magnetron in a microwave oven 600++ Watts at 2.45GHz .... hi power and fixed freq
The report is talking about TWT's.... TWT = Travelling Wave Tube = these are amplifiers ( not signal generators) for various microwave bands and are generally reasonably broad in freq ie. any given one will usually cover several GHz in freq.
So my question is.... What are you really after ? a hi power signal generator like a klystron or magnetron or
are you after a TWT amplifier to put on the output of your low power microwave signal generator ?
Dave
SNIP . initial i posted this thread to know any mpm which has magnetron or klytron as power amplifiers. but there are few modules having magnetron or klyston as power amplifier SNIP .
