2- wireless communication by rapaport


for analog communication

1- modren digital and analog communication by B.P.Lathi...but this is totally boaring book

2-communication system essential by ..
3- telecommunication engg. by j.Dunlop

Bruce Carlson's Communications systems for begineers

Proakis' Digital Communications is a good book for people with some background in communications. I would say some background to stochastic processes will be of essence before taking on proakis, although it gives you some introduction to that.
