Please recommend Audio power amplifier for portable device

Please recommend the power ampilfier for portable device such as
celluar phone, mp3 player, and PDA.
By the way, for generic amplifier, what are the max input voltage swing and amplifier input impedance? How to drive it?

Hi all,I also want to know!
If the supply voltage is 5V,and the resistance is only 8Ω,so,how to get 1.25w
output power?
In detail,I mean what's the range of the input and output?

And ,maybe someone can tell me what is critical point or technical difficult of such audio amplifiers?

By the way,I want to know when the fisr product with above sepecifications comes out?which critical dimension it is,1.5um or 0.5um?
And if such an audio amplifier is to be designed,which critical dimension you prefer?

look LM386 is 8 pins and not extern component

1) I would like to know this part LM386, what's the input impedance
of it? and how to drive it?

2)I would like to select the low power opamp to drive it. If the part LM386 has low impedance input impedance, my opamp will consume more current to drive this part.

The input impedance should be around 50K ohms, so it's large enough for me.

Besides, I saw the default gain is 20, so once I give a peak to peak voltage as high as 500mV, then the amplifier output will be 10V?, Can we set the gain less
than 10?
