Hey Guys....

I have attached a program....
my Friend have made this program, it takes input from a camera...it can be a Webcam or any kind of camera working with windows...

Program

This program takes pictures from webcam at an rate of 5fps, i.e. 5 pics per second.....so the duration between two pics should be 0.2seconds...

Problem

BUT the problem is....that program is not capturing pics after 0.2s, sometimes it takes pic in .17 seconds, sometimes in .25sec.....

BUt i need exact .2seconds....

and he is now saying that it is not possible on a program to be precise....
BUT i don't think so....(although i am an electronics guy n know only embedded C n assembly...)

PLEASE HELP !!

To run this program....

0. Put this file in a new folder n extract...
1. Attach a camera in your system...
2. now run this program....
3. now select the camera (in this program), just click besides VIDEO SOURCE.
4. click on VIEW n select DETAILS
5. click on START
6. now click on RECONSTRUCT , LIVE, SAVE FRAMES
7. now it will save frames in the folder containing this program....
8. name of the pic is yymmdd-hour min sec-millisecond.
9. now u can see that the time difference between two frames id not .2s but varies around it...
