I want to make a FM Radio with the self tuned radio TEA5757.

It is very difficult to give you any specific advises as you do not
give out any details on the specifications of your intended design.

There exists numerous ways of designing a radio, some with good
points in some aspects, vice versa for others. The way I would
start in designing a radio having a particular chip in mind intended
for the purpose, would be to look for any application notes that the
manufacturers might have. Such often contain useful information,
circuit examples, formulaes etc.

Do not forget to check whether the chip may have alternative
manufacturers (they may have additional application notes) and
also whether there might exist any close equivalents (functionally).
Sometimes different manufacturers make chips that are not exact
equivalents but quite close. Locating such (if they exist) may give
you still more sources for application notes that in turn could give
you more good ideas and examples of useful design approaches.

Thank you!
I don't know any similar chip and the information about this is poor.
Anyway I have an application note with this integer.

Hello,
Please help in finding an algorithm that can be used with 8031 series microcontrollers for PLL tuning of FM radios
Take the case of a STR chip TEA 5757

h**p://mujweb.atlas.cz/www/pira/fmcards.htm

why not ask this guy for some words

and also save your self the hastle you can work out the data to the chip by using the data sheet

h**p://openbsd.secsup.org/src/sys/dev/ic/tea5757.c

h**p://openbsd.secsup.org/src/sys/dev/ic/tea5757.h

and here is some code to control them in c

you can use this im shure

i hope this will help......

!!!!WE ARE THE BORG!!!!

Hello Borg,
Thank you.
The url you mentioned is in different language. There is no circuit for that design available. Would you please suggest alternatives if any. I am looking for a stand alone radio, not a PC based.
regards
Suresh
