please help me in Differential gps

What is differential GPS and how it is different from normal GPS...... How would i interface it with microcontroller ........
Any links and tutorials would be appreciated.......

As you can see from this link, differential GPS requires additional infrastructure beyond just the GPS satellites. If you don't set up those additional ground-based stations yourself, you have to have access to some that have been set up by others. For example, aircraft GPS makes use of differential GPS for precision GPS approaches. But that is only good in the vicinity of the airport, and unless you are designing an aviation GPS receiver, you are not going to have that access.

So what i need to do so that i should increase the accuracy of GPS......... In my application accuracy is very important..................please suggest some alternative to it..........
