Hi all, I have my Bachelor Degree in Electronic, but due to I would like to switch to power electrical field, therefore, I am going to take EC UK (Engineering Council, UK) this coming December. I heard that ECUK is very tough, passing rate is very low, about 10% only in my country, Malaysia. Anyway, I already applied to sit for 5 papers this December, hope I could pass all the paper.

attached is all 5 subjects i will take this coming december ECUK exam..
please recommend me suitable and easy understanding book for below study.
the PDF file include the Syllabus for that paper..
i have to self study all of them

215 The Analysis and Design of Electric Circuits and Fields
syllabus: https://files.engineering.com/getfi...e-7c8a-44cf-843c-e0eb065b838a&file=215_v2.pdf

216 Electrical Machines and Drives
syllabus: https://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=8a7bd8b9-0520-4c29-b840-77ca4622a189&file=216.pdf

217 Electrical Energy Systems
syllabus: https://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=cd69437f-a37c-4c54-914e-ce04e50efef3&file=217.pdf

220 Quality and Reliability Engineering
syllabus: https://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=250c0f6a-ebbf-45df-8ab9-339400785d9f&file=220.pdf

300 Advanced Engineering Analysis

i need to take ECUK exam before i could change my engineering field from electronic to electrical.ECUK exam fees is very expensive, 5 subject cost me about USD$ 1000, which is about my 1.5 months salary. so i will be work hard to pass all the paper. dont have budget to resit the paper.

Recommended reading list:
Electric Power Systems - Weedy, Cory
Power System Analysis - Grainger, Stevenson
Electrical Energy Systems Theory, an Introduction – Elgerd

Well, I roughly look thought <Electric Power Systems - Weedy, Cory> already.. I just feel it is a bit hard to understand. The other 2 books I couldn’t find in my university library. Currently I am reading <Electrical Power Systems. By C L Wadhwa> on google book.

Please recommend me suitable, and easy understanding book for above study.
Thanks a lot.

j.b.gupta book on power system protection

until now, i decide to take these book for reference.

ecuk pass paper answer

I didnt see one book mentioning "Adult supervision" in that selection.

After using and needing to repair tools all my life, the Electrical Power transfers are the cheapest part of the tools and the most frequent to fail and the most difficult to replace and normally are un-repairable.

The Chinese lead the pack of unreliable and unreplaceable electricl switches.
When they design a product they put out an RFP for a 'run' of the cheapest switch product available. That product is designed for the sale item. Not used anywhere else and has never been heard of before.

Only enough of the product is manufactured.
So when a failure occur's after the sale item is no longer being manufactured, you cant find a replacment for that product.

Americans on the other hand, normally, use a standard switch from a manufacturer who can keep stock on hand as it is normally used in other sale items.

Somewhere in our world of ever cheapening power transfer switch's etc, we need to change that operational attitude.
That ought to be a test question!

i think,
ELECTRICAL MACHINES AND DRIVES is the best
