plannar antenna arrays need help

can anyone give me some starting tips for array designing i have designed crossed bow tie antenna having gain of 5 db and now i want to made its planar array 5*5.now my questions are
1.how to take distance between array element i-e d?
2.how to dimensions of air box?normally for single antenna we just put box lembda/4 now in this case what to do?
3.should i given separte lumped port to each antenna haing same phase to make it broadside array?
plzzzzzzz anyone whos has made any planar array plz share their model plzzzzzz
 

Hi aniakhan,

If you have CST MWS installed you'll find in the examples foldered (pre-installed on your program files under your CST file) some examples on antenna arrays. Let me know if you want me to upload these CST files.

i dont have cst mws ,i have hfss and using it for arrays,can you plz upload metioned cst files so that i can have an idea?thanks for help
 

Find attached one of the examples as found in the CST installation folder.
