hello ..
i need a prototype block diagram for UMTS base station receiver that can be implemented (i.e. with a little details about circuit level of each block) as it's my graduation project.
anyone has information, sites, documents or even ieee papers please upload them and i'll appreciate that.

You may use matlab to help you to some extent.
In matlab simulink, you will find an IS-95 blocks.
you may use some of them and develop the others to UMTS.

first of all .. am using labview (just begin) and i need to know that blocks itself such that i can use them. in addition, i may need some blocks in cicuit level to be implemented.

For Matlab, There is a seperate Toolkit available with NI. You can browse www.ni.com to check the Toolkit.

With toolkit you can interface and use matlab features in LabVIEW.

To meet your requirement, you have to do some sub routine development.
