hi all
I have designed a pifa antenna with meandered patch for Bluetooth/WLAN/WIMAX applications. I just wanted to know about novelty of this concept. Because i'm going to apply for a paper in a journal publication. Is my concept new?

Do you mean a geometry like below? Taken from TI application note AN058

My design is different from the picture you've mentioned, but yes, the same concept, I've used for my design and the patch is of 1.8 cm2.

You can search the internet, or especially on IEEE, for PIFA and meander. There are lots of PIFA publications.
You could start with an antenna handbook that focus on mobile antennas.
