PK2CMD, a 32-bit command line interface for the PICkit 2 Programmer has been released
Works great with Proton IDE, also PBP and others IDE
and does not require the .NET Framework.

Nice to know, I hate the .NET, the only application that I have in my PC that use it is the one of PICkit2, but I try to not use it, most of times (99.9%) I use the MPLAB.

Pro soft don't use .NET

pickit2 commandline usage

Wonderful. I though first this feature is mainly for Linux users. Goot to see It also benefits the third party vendors. Great!
