PIC32 make a simple CAN master stack

I need to drive a CAN slave with my pic.

which pic32 controller you are using?

I'm using a PIC32MX795
To start my project I'm using the CAN_RTR_EID sample to help me to configure.
I've finished the init step (I hope) , now I'm trying to code the first message "Start the remote node"

I assume that you are talking about PIC32MX795F512L,if so then above links will help you.
