I'm trying to input laptop's 3.5mm audio signal to pic18f452 adc, but I'm not sure what kind of ac voltage that plug outputs...
I assume that would be something like -1,0V to 1,0V, also I've heard that negative reference voltage can't be below zero.

So I'm planning to use a summing amplifier Operational amplifier applications - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ,where V2 would be right or left audio channel and V1=2,5V. I need also amplify the signal so the signal to adc is in range 0V-5V. Reference voltages would be 5V(pic Vdd) and 0V.

Do you see any problem with this, or should I say, where did I go wrong? I'm quite new to electronics...
