hello guys..
Can you help me do another example of automated watering the plants using PIC16F877A. Im doing the project which automatically turn on and off the water pump depending on the moisture sensor content in soil(turn on the water pump if the soil is dry, turn off the water pump if the soil is already wet). Im using PIC16F877A + Soil Moisture Sensor + Water Pump 12V and using C Language. Plzz.. guyz i need your HELP badly.

So what's the problem, no body will do your home work, one can only help.

What is your Soil Sensor??
And what interface it uses, most probably it is connected to an ADC.
Select a value at which you have to turn pump on-or-off.
Use opto-coupler to separate the supplies of pump and micro-controller.

this is my sensor and yah it is connected to ADC

Dc soil sensors are much LESS accuracte than ac and also suffer from galvanic voltage errors and possible corrosion.

This would be measure the capacitance of soil with water, which has a diectric constant of 60, whereas resistance varies an order of magnitude dpending on fertilized content.

So you may find the apparent level shift higher with fertilizer salts.
