PIC KIT2 on USB 3.0 not working

Hi,
I recently bought a PIC KIT2 clone, and it is working only with USB 2.0 ports,not working on usb 3.0 ports.(My motherboard is Gigabyte GA Z77x-UD3H). I checked each and every USB 3.0 port and the result was same.with usb 2.0 ports pic kit2 is working perfectly,are they any other people having this issue or any workaround to fix this?

PIC KIT2's pic18f2550 data sheet says "USB V2.0 Compliant" but usb 3.0 is backward compatible so theoretically pic kit2 it should work with usb 3.0 port
(but i think usb 3.0 devices may not work with usb 2.0 port btw i don't know exactly)

PK2 works normally on USB 3.0 port.
On my Acer laptop, even in Virtual Box (I'm natively running Linux).
