Hello guys,

Do we able to read & export the hex file from PIC if there is CP & CPD enable?
 

Setting the code protect bits when you program your Pic will prevent the code from being read from the Pic. This is so no one can copy your code.

I think we should add 'under normal conditions and methods'

I have seen web sites claim to provide code breaking services, They need two protected chips which they will 'break into' and will give you demo piece.after verifying the working you pay balance amount to get code.

So the site claims. unfortunately I not have the link now. Will search

Agreed, under normal conditions.
I too have seen descriptions of methods to break the protection.

Where ever there is a locked door, somebody will trying to open it.
Human nature!
 

how can we program surface mount PIC like SSOP package? do there have any socket converter?
