pic based timer with usart output

hi guys@!!

I'm currently working on as pic based timer with two inputs from portb. the timer must start when signal in portb6 is high and must stop when signal in portb7 is high the resultant time period must be sent to the pc via usart can anyone help me with da coding i use mikroc and mplab
