Physical size of antenna in terms of guided wavelenght

Please anybody suggest how to represent the physical size of the microstrip antenna in terms of guided wavelength (Lambda g) and in terms of free space wavelength( Lambda zero). Please provide the steps to calculate the same. If total build-up area is (50×40×1.6) mm, resonating frequency is 16 GHz and dielectric constant is 4.4.

Hello

height of substrate should be in between 0.003*lambda zero and 0.05*lambda zero.
length of the patch should in between (lambda zero)/3 and (lambda zero)/2.

For calculation of all parameters of antenna design ,I suggest you to go through chapter 14 -Micro strip Patch Antenna of Book Balanis .The design equations of all parameters are given in that chapter.

Thank You
