8) Hi all,
I want to standardize a power mosfet. Which manufacturers Mosfet is better ("Phillips or International rectifier") and reliable for DC DC converter application . i want to use a 50 to 60 volt 60 Amp mosfet.

ON semi's MOSFET is a good choice,too.

IR is best, but it is not cheap.
Pls select fairchild

One further consideration is to select a model number that is made by several manufacturers. This will improve the chances that you can buy one throughout the manufacturing life of your product.

I prefer to use philips, because philips quality and the lead time, price is better than IR, IR need too long lead time, and more expensive!
