Hi,
Doing a 230W PFC, 100-265VAC. 400Vout
100Khz
CCM
LT1248

Could use a inductor made from a PQ3535 with AL=315 and 31 turns, for 300uH.

.....However, wondering whether the production and part costs for a sendust/Kool-mu torroid type inductor will be cheaper?….though of course, it doesn’t have the nice former to mount it on…..so needs a bit of “fiddle” from the production staff.

So which is likely to be cheaper?
