Hi all

we know that each conv. encoder has a certain D_free which determines the number of errors that it can correct.

But what about the performance of the convolution against more errors?

For example ,lets say that we have a conv. that can correct up to 4 bits , what will be its performance if the error is 5 bits? 6bits??or even more.
