Hi Guys

I am building a 2KW PMG DC motor drive, using 24V.

I will be using current control as it is to be used on a kart. I am bit confused about what I should limit the peak current to, what will determine/limit this??

Thanks.

Electronic motor controllers have programmable inbuilt current limiter
and current control parameters to adapt different motors.
Older models have these setting with pot.meters.
Check controller manufacturer, model and type.
-try google for manuals and instructions.
