pc based oscilloscope using pic16f872 and vb.net interface

my pic is sending data to the serial port at a baud rate of 115200. the problem is my dot net application is drawing the curves slowly and it ends up freezing the machine due to memory limitations. How can i draw the graphs on the screen without filling up memory and fast enough to process the data as it is recieved

1-Why don't try to make your application on VC instead of VB I think it must be faster.

2-You may need to reed some info about DMA -Direct memory access-, I am not sure
