Dear all,

I found the transient response of a Pass-transistor using Cadence. Now, I want to calculate the transient voltage of a NMOs pass-transistor theoretically, but I got confused, any body can tell me what is the equation for transient response of a pass-transistor in its sourse?

Thanks

Suppose that we apply input to the drain of an NMOS transistor and connect a capacitor in its source. If we label the capacitor voltage as Vx, how can I calculate the voltage of Vx(t) in an arbitrary time while the NMOS is working in Triode region?

Thanks nitishn5 :)

There are few good examples in chapter 12 of Razavi's book "Analog CMOS ..." that precisely answers your question.
