I need to control the data bits of my parallel port individually through MATLAB. What should I do? Please help

Try with the Data Acquisition Toolbox, look this tutorial: **broken link removed**
 

should I have data acquisition toolbox in order to control parallel port?
 

Actually I was not having daq toolbox installed, so parallel port instructions did not work.

Now I tried the same in another computer, and was successful.
