overclocking msp430

Has anyone tried overclocking the MSP430 family of RISC controllers ? The data-sheet says max clock is 8MHz. While this is sufficient for most applications, sometimes its nice to have a little extra speed.

The main issues (other than increased power consumption) are :-
> What is the relationship between supply Voltage and Max Clock ?
> Does flash write (internal flash) happen at Max Clock ?
> Do internal timers support the Max Clock ?

Any views welcome ..

I tried with and MSP430F149....
at around 9.5 MHZ it starts to work unreliable ( couldn`t program anymore, with Vcc 3.3V ) so it seems there is not so much margin.

Thanks !

Too bad the MSP430 can't do better. Imagine a MSP430F149 clocked at 24 MHz !! .. a dream machine (especially with all on-board peripherals).
