OV7670 module and avr ?

Can I interface OV7670 module with AVR microcontroller directly ?

you need al422b fifo for that since clock frequency of atmega series is not sufficient for camera to run.
most of pixels will be lost.
better do what i have done ,purchase the above camera and al422b ic from aliexpress they are very cheap(same available at rs components @rs1200).
