Hi all,
I have 1 antenna array which is simulated in HFSS EM.
I inserted that EM simulation into HFSS circuit and added coaxial cable for changing phase at each input port.
Buy changing parameters in circuit (ie. coaxial cable length) and using Push excitation, I can see the far field parameters in EM changed (Beamwidth, gain...)
How can I optimize parameter which is defined in circuit for getting expected output which is defined in EM (Beamwidth, gain...)!
I'm not sure if you can. What you could do, though, is insert voltage sources as excitations into your EM simulation, and set the amplitudes/phases to be variables. Then, you can optimize over these variables directly in the EM solver. You can set it up to use the same mesh every time so that the solver doesn't need to reconverge for every sweep.
