Hi,

For the BSIM3v3 models, what names does Spectre use to display the incremental terminal capacitances of the MOS transistors? I need to know how it names Cgs, Cgd, Cdb, Csb when it displays this information. Does it also have a specific name for the total capacitance connected to the gate terminal and to the drain terminal?
Thank you in advance.

Regarding capacitances in Cadence: Cadence uses the same names as described in BSIM model, which is a partial derivative of node's charge by node's voltage. E.g. Cgs = d(Qg)/d(Us)

Check BSIM documentation at Berkley's site. Also this question was replied at comp.cad.cadence, use search in it..

I really believe someone has answered already the question about capacitances. Could you please post a link to the answers in comp.cad.cadence?
