The LCX-Z5 is the same as the HZ186. So why does it have the different open/short calibration as shown in 2:45 of this video?
There is a suggestion that "transformer measurement useage" needs different open/short calibration than simpler "inductor measurement useage"?

Thanks, if we use the HZ186 to test a transformer, with connections to primary and secondary, then do we need to do open/short calibration on it in the same manner is is shown (in post #1) for the LCX-Z5? (ie outer connections open, inner connections shorted, for the "open" calibration)
