i mean onboard lan (inbuilt in motherboard)
there was a yellow mark on my lan card in device manager, i was not able to do anything,
bios working fine no hanging problem in bios , only hang while windows loading process , some time enable lan card in bios mode xp boot and detect lan card with yellow mark, and suddenly undetect after 2-3 minut
after disable in bios i can boot windows xp fine, but windows 7 wont boot at all no matter lan card disable or enable
thats why installed new lan card (external) working fine , but problem is i cant install windows 7 at all
suggest me to disable lan hardware and how? (disabled in bios not working) i just want install windows7 on it
thanks in advance

tried but no success
thanks for reply
What exactly happen when you try to install Win7, how setup is stopped with what error message?
I think you have IRQ conflicts in PC.
What additional cards you have in PC (modem, tv tunner, sound card, USB/RS232/LPT ports cards,...)?
What motherboard you have, exactly model number?
Best regards,
Peter
after windows install , hanging while "setup is preparing your computer for first use",
Additional card Is working fine without additional card same problem happen :/
Chipset : Intel i945G/GZ
MOTHER BOARD NAME: ZX-I945LM4 Ver: 1.5 (made in China) AMIBIOS Motherboard
Video Card : Intel® 82945G Express Chipset Family
graphics driver : 82945gv
Did you try to start and finish installation without any additional cards? (Only clear motherboard, all expansion slots clear).
Best regards,
Peter
Try different expansion slot in motherboard. Some motherboards only accepts specific cards in some slots not in all.
If that do not help try this:
Try following step by step in this order of steps:
1. Remove all additional cards from motherboard.
2. In BIOS use "Load default settings" option (do not change any settings except next step).
3. In BIOS disable integrated LAN adapter.
4. Start Win7 setup and install OS (do not put any other cards or software after setup is finished).
5. Add additional LAN adapter in motherboard slot.
6. Install LAN adapter driver.
7. Install other device drivers (VGA, sound, ....)
8. Add additional cards to motherboard.
9. Add additional cards drivers.
Best regards,
Peter

Additional to this, there is many cheap and middle class motherboards which cant support to have all slots in parallel work.

tried, same error :'(
i can repair motherboard
what you suggest me about it?
i can change or replace part of mother board, i have same dead motherboard
suggest me to fix hardware (hope you will)
Can You visually inspect motherboard parts, check all parts on physical damage or overheating. Inspect MosFETs, capacitors, diodes, chips, .... look for small cracking, discolored areas, missing parts of part body,... can even looks like as small hole in epoxy of part body.
Check all motherboard voltages on motherboard power connector.
I personally think You have some other problem on motherboard and not with integrated LAN chip.
Usually this motherboard should be replaced, but if you have second the same or similar motherboard with the same chips, why not to try. At least you will increase soldering/desoldering skills. You need hot air rework station with adequate hot air nozzle. For BGA chips you need IR station, if you want to replace chipsets, several times I done that with hot air station without problem.
PC motherboard diagnostics and repairs requires a lots of equipments and serviceman knowledge, from good digital multichannel oscilloscope, logical multichannel analyzers, to IR spot soldering stations and microscopes,... Very often service is based on guessing and huge expirience. Serviceman need to have high expirience and knowledge, he need to know what signal he should receive or send on what point in motherboard, this also requires manufacturers motherboard service documentations. If there is no other solutions for problem, home users usually replace motherboard. Often replacing motherboard even with used is cheaper than service of single BGA chip in some good service.

Peter
