Hello all,

I am spending some times trying to obtain a spice/spectre model from a Momentum simulation.
I already obtained a model but I'm not sure this will be the correct way.
Let me describe how I'm doing:
- first, launch the ADS Momentum simulation
- create a model of my simulation
- back to ADS circuit environment I insert the component
- then after, run the Spice Model Generator, broadband
- specify the file type: dataset
- specify the file type: spectre
- run the conversion

I got a scs file, as planned, but I'm not sure this is the correct way, and if it's the good result.
In fact -and that was my fist objective- I'd like to obtain a file containing the s-parameters results form the Momentum simulation, as a blackbox.

But even with the helpfile, it's not that clear.

Any help would be very useful.

Thanks a lot, in advance !
Regards

Ok, 'til someone provides some news...

I've understand something new:
- if you want a s-parameter file from a Momentum simulation, one kind of file is made for you: mdm file :)

Regards

Hi,

You are going the correct way this is the correct method to generate the spectre format from *.ds format.
