nordic nrf9e5 adc conversion

Hi everyone, please help me.
I want to ask about nRF9E5 IC:

1. What is the maximum range of a nRF9E5 device? outdoor and indoor?
2. How can I increase the output power to +15dBm? for longer range.
3. Can a nRF9E5 device be come a mesh network?
4. How many nodes can be present in a single network?
5. Can the AD converter be perform 12 bit conversion? The real 12 bit
conversion?
6. The user program is normally loaded into a 4k byte RAM from an
external serial EEPROM by the bootstrap loader. The 4k byte RAM may also
(partially)be used for data storage in some applications.
Question: Can an external serial EEPROM ("generic 25320") used for data storage
too?

Thanks a lot.

1. About 300m max outdoors, depending on antenna
2. No
3. Not easily
4. The addressing scheme is 24bit, but about 4million in practice (I think)
5. You can oversample to achieve pseudo 12bit, the actual converters are 1bit
6. Yes you can store some data on the EEPROM

This device: **broken link removed**

is similar, has 16bit network address, 8bit node address and programmable output power. I achieve over well over 1km range using colinear antenna using this design. It is also possible to create a mesh network.

andika,
...also note that at the end of 2004 Nordic has change "drastically" nRF9E5 specs (with some power improvements),

...so don't forget to download the latest rev. datasheets and optain the latest chips for tests...

Hope this helps,

Dear C51 and aNdreiBuuu,

Thanks a lot for the great information.
I choice nRF9E5 because embedded microcontroller and ADC.

Regards,
Andika
