noise temperature

for an attenuator at a physical temperature Tphys, the noise temperature is Te = (L − 1)Tphys.Then what about an amplifer ?

Re: noise temperature

Te (noise temperature) = (Fn-1)To

Fn = noise factor
To = reference temperature

Te = K To log-1[NF/10]-1

K is boltzman contant
