microcontroller and noisy environment

Hello friends,

Can any one suggest a microcontroller which is highly immune to noise from 8051 family?

I am currently using 89C2051 for my application but the circuit is to be placed in very noisy environment. Noise level is high.

So please suggest a microcontroller which works in noisy environment or remedies to prevent malfunctioning of 89C2051 in noisy environment

Thanks in advance.

plz tell us what type of noise its there
1> line noise
2> EMI
3> RF noise
etc.....

plz give little details of environment

Dear friend,

Its RF noise & EMI both.
Its type of argon sparking environment.
But there is no line noise
thanks & Regards

Why not simply shield it (metal case, grounded), and use optocoupler isolated I/O, even drive it fro a battery if you can't filter out he suply (via large caps and chokes) ?

But are there specially designed noise immune micro controller(8051 family )?
or someother family which are highly immune to noise like RF & EMI?

please do suggest some µC

thanks

are u aware the frequency range of your EMI/RFI noise then u can concentrate more on emi filters and connectors
